Associate Director, Customer Data Platform

We’re looking for a Customer Data Platform product owner and leader with deep practical experience in how platforms like Salesforce Data Cloud/Data 360 operate day to day. You will own how the platform works in practice, ensuring data is structured, unified and usable to drive real-time decisioning, marketing and customer engagement outcomes.
This role blends deep platform expertise with strong governance, people leadership and enterprise-wide influence, and data driven thinking. You’ll act as a senior partner and trusted advisor to Marketing, Technology, Data Office, Analytics, Decisioning and external partners to deliver a high performing, secure and future ready CDP ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end CDP product vision and roadmap from ingestion through to activation. ensuring alignment to customer, marketing and business priorities.
- Deeply understand identity stitching, data models and audience creation.
- Oversee platform configuration, integrations and data flows across diverse online and offline sources at enterprise scale with consideration of the MarTech stack
- Own and evolve the CDP data model and identity framework, ensuring accurate customer unification and usability for activation.
- Translate business use cases into CDP design and configuration, ensuring data is actionable inn campaigns and decisioning.
- Define and optimise identity resolution rules and customer stitching logic across channels and systems. Translate business use cases into CDP design and configuration, ensuring data is actionable in campaigns and decisioning.
- Work with platform teams and data engineers to configure and optimise CDP ensuring it supports real-time and batch use cases.
- and systems platform performance, risks and opportunities to ensure measurable commercial and customer outcomes and provide visibility through senior governance and executive forums.
What makes you perfect
- Hands on experience owning or operating a CDP e.g. Salesforce Data 360, Segment, Tealium or Adobe RT-CDP
- Strong understanding of CRM, transactional, behavioural, retail and call centre data ecosystems.
- Proven governance, compliance and data quality capability across privacy and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience enabling audience creation, segmentation and activation.
- Strong strategic leadership with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, shape priorities and align multiple senior leaders to business outcomes.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including leading senior specialists and/or strategic delivery partners.
- Skilled in analytics, problem-solving and identifying optimisation opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Salesforce certifications strongly preferred.
