Team8 is looking for an exceptional Strategy & Business Operations Manager to join our Enterprise practice, which focuses on cybersecurity and data & AI infrastructure.

This is a high-impact role designed for a “superstar” who thrives at the intersection of big-picture strategy and hands-on execution.

You will be instrumental in our venture-building engine, shaping new startup theses, supporting early-stage portfolio companies, and managing the fund’s core operations and governance. Responsibilities:

• Take an active role in ensuring success at every step of the company-building and growth process, ensuring KPIs are met.
• Support fundraising, fund governance, and investor relations.
• Support Team8’s early-stage startups (cybersecurity and data & AI infrastructure) by providing strategic insights and guidance:
• Market & Competitive Research: Conduct in-depth external analyses, including TAM assessments, market trends, competitive landscapes, and battle cards.
• Customer & Product Insights: Analyze potential customer interactions to provide recommendations on ICP, buyer personas, MVP design, key use cases, future features, and adoption blockers.
• Go-to-Market Support: Develop collateral, sales enablement tools, and publishable content (e.g., pitch decks, battle cards, competitive briefs).
• Support day-to-day operations for Team8’s foundry
• Support Team8 Ideation process: Contribute to new venture creation through market research, thesis development, validation with our C-level executive community, summarizing inputs and translating insights into actionable recommendations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting (top-tier firm) or as a business analyst / product manager in a startup.
• Strong analytical and tech-savvy mindset; comfortable working with data and numbers.
• Proven ability to manage both strategy and execution, balancing big-picture vision with detailed ownership.
• Comfortable jumping from one topic to another, able to go wide or deep depending on the task.
• Experience in market research and strategy development.
• Highly organized, with excellent time-management skills.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
• Native-level English (spoken and written) is a must.
• Background in cybersecurity, AI, or data infrastructure – an advantage
