Description
FundGuard, the asset management industry’s first AI-powered, fully cloud-native investment accounting platform, is hiring a Commercial Analyst to support data‑driven sales and go‑to‑market decisions through robust internal and external analysis and financial modeling. The role provides insight into sales targets versus budget, pipeline performance, and revenue forecasting, and is responsible for producing data sets – primarily from our HubSpot CRM – that underpin commercial oversight and reporting to stakeholders, including the Board.
Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer’s team and partnering across Sales and Marketing, the ideal candidate will have expertise in HubSpot (or similar CRM), strong analytical capabilities, and advanced Excel skills, including the ability to model current‑state and forward‑looking scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and report commercial financial analysis aligned with overall organizational reporting
- Build sales and CRM pipeline targets that align with FundGuard budgets and support required revenue generation
- Ensure new‑logo growth and existing‑client pipeline expansion is sufficient to meet or exceed budgeted targets
- Reconcile sales and CRM pipeline data with regional P&L reporting
- Produce market research and data analysis to monitor industry trends and performance
- Define and agree sales BI and performance reporting requirements
- Align commercial reporting with weekly and monthly group reporting cycles
- Use SF and PBI dashboards to deliver regular performance‑vs‑budget insights, highlighting variances and improvement opportunities
- Analyse HubSpot data to identify pipeline strengths, weaknesses, trends, risks, and opportunities
- Provide performance analytics to support individual and team management across Sales and CRM
- Respond quickly to new reporting needs and produce ad‑hoc management financial reports
- Maintain deep expertise in FundGuard’s HubSpot configuration, data structure, and reporting capabilities
- Partner with sales and commercial leaders to define and support HubSpot performance analysis requirements including pipeline velocity, composition and predicted pipeline health
- Produce HubSpot‑based performance MI for senior management, Board reporting, and weekly/monthly cadences – including relevant commentary
- Build dashboards aligned with group reporting to support effective sales management
Requirements:
- Degree in accounting, finance or related field strongly preferred
- 3 years+ experience in analytical role
- Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills
- Extensive experience budgeting and financial modeling
- Strong working knowledge of HubSpot and its outputs
- Good communication skills
- Self starter but can also work as a team
