About Port
At Port.io, we are building an open and flexible Agentic Engineering Platform for modern engineering organizations. Following our recent $100M Series C funding round, we are in a phase of rapid hypergrowth with strong enterprise momentum.
We serve as the central nervous system for engineering, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and present it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents.
By integrating rich engineering context, workflows, and actions, we assist organizations in transitioning from manual processes to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining control and accountability.
As a product-led company, we believe in building world-class platforms that fundamentally shape how modern engineering organizations operate.
Our growth is driven by the industry’s leading product and the continuous innovation of our customers – big and small, who use our platform to transform how developers work.
About Your Day-to-Day:
As a Field Marketing Manager, EMEA, you will play a meaningful role in shaping how Port operates and scales within the European market.
You will work closely with the Demand Generation, Sales, and Customer Success teams, take ownership over the end-to-end EMEA events strategy, and help transform complex field marketing challenges into clear, structured outcomes that drive pipeline and brand authority.
Responsibilities:
- Owning and executing the EMEA Event Strategy with independence and accountability, from large-scale conference sponsorships to bespoke, Port-only hosted events.
- Collaborating with Sales and Head of Demand Gen to align event selection with regional lead and pipeline forecasts.
- Turning ambiguity into structured processes regarding venue selection, vendor management, and target audience identification for new regional markets.
- Driving high-quality execution of lead management workflows, ensuring quality context is delivered to sales teams with speed and precision.
- Communicating clearly and documenting decisions through rigorous reporting on ROI, KPIs, and post-event analysis.
- Continuously improving event standards, testing new engagement formats, and optimizing the “pre/during/post” activity playbook.
- Partnering with external vendors and third-party organizers to secure premium sponsorships and ensure seamless execution of the EMEA activity calendar.
How Success Will Look Like:
Success in this role means becoming a trusted, reliable contributor who brings clarity and stability to our international growth efforts.
Within the first months, you are expected to:
- Take full ownership of the EMEA event calendar and operate independently with third-party vendors.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality event experiences that meet or exceed pipeline generation targets.
- Proactively identify gaps in the current regional strategy and recommend high-impact ancillary events.
- Build strong working relationships with the Sales and CS teams based on trust and seamless lead handoff accountability.
- Contribute to a calmer, more predictable, and better-organized marketing engine through meticulous project management.
Requirements:
Professional & Technical Background:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, field marketing, or communications within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex in-person and virtual events end-to-end (from micro-dinners to 10k+ attendee conferences).
- Experience with data-driven marketing, specifically tracking event ROI and managing lead flow through CRM/Marketing Automation tools.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, scaling environment where traveling to key markets is part of the growth strategy.
Personal Attributes & Mindset:
- High ownership mentality — you are “detail-obsessed” and take full responsibility for the attendee experience.
- Strong sense of structure — unmatched organization skills to manage overlapping deadlines and global logistics.
- Comfortable with ambiguity — able to research a new region and recommend a vetted path forward for the brand.
- Collaborative by nature — a thoughtful communicator who can influence internal stakeholders and external partners alike.
- Strong bias towards action — you don’t wait for permission to improve a process or test a new creative strategy.
Cares deeply about quality — you understand that every field event is a physical representation of the Port brand.
