Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Founding Recruiter to build and own the talent function from the ground up. This is a foundational role. You’ll work closely with the founders and leadership team to define how we hire, who we hire, and how we scale the organization. You’ll be responsible not just for execution, but for building the systems and standards that ensure we consistently hire exceptional people.
Key Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end recruiting
- Lead full-cycle recruiting across sales, marketing and operations.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role scope and success profiles.
- Drive a structured, high-quality process from sourcing through close.
Build the recruiting function
- Design and implement interview frameworks, scorecards, and hiring workflows.
- Establish the tools, systems, and reporting needed to scale hiring.
- Create repeatable processes that maintain a high talent bar as we grow.
Develop strong talent pipelines
- Proactively source and engage top candidates, especially for high-impact GTM roles.
- Build outbound strategies for hard-to-reach talent pools.
- Continuously improve pipeline quality and conversion.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience
- Ensure a thoughtful, high-signal process for every candidate.
- Clearly communicate Frame’s vision, product, and opportunity.
- Build early employer brand through candidate interactions.
Act as a strategic partner
- Bring market insight on talent, compensation, and competitive dynamics.
- Help prioritize hiring based on company goals.
- Maintain a high bar and provide clear, data-informed recommendations.
Success Metrics:
Hiring Impact
- Improved quality of hire (manager satisfaction, new hire performance, low regretted attrition).
Pipeline Quality
- Built high-conversion pipelines (strong screen → onsite → hire rates).
- Sourced top candidates through outbound channels.
Closing
- Drove high offer acceptance rates.
- Reduced time from final round to signed offer.
- Won candidates in competitive processes.
Speed
- Reduced time to first qualified candidate.
- Decreased time to fill across roles.
Systems & Scale
- Built consistent, structured hiring processes.
- Improved interviewer calibration and decision quality.
- Scaled recruiting across multiple roles without quality loss.
Requirements:
Required Skills & Experience:
Core experience
- 4–8 years of recruiting experience, ideally in high-growth or venture-backed startup environments.
- Proven track record of hiring strong talent across multiple functions.
- Experience owning full-cycle recruiting and influencing hiring decisions.
Skillset
- Strong sourcing capability, with the ability to build pipelines beyond inbound.
- Sound judgment in assessing talent and maintaining a high bar.
- Ability to operate effectively in an unstructured, fast-moving environment.
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Experience as an early or founding recruiting hire.
- Background in SaaS and/or cybersecurity businesses.
- Experience hiring GTM roles (sales, partnerships, customer success).
