The Role

We’re hiring a Head of Growth Marketing to own and scale the engine that turns market awareness into pipeline. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for a versatile B2B marketer who has built and run demand generation programs end to end, from intent signals to closed pipeline.

You’ll lead our demand generation, growth hacking, inbound marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and marketing automation functions, building the infrastructure and programs that generate qualified pipeline at scale. This role reports directly to the VP Marketing.

You move fast, make data-driven decisions, and know how to build scalable programs.

In this role, success looks like: pipeline from marketing that is predictable, measurable, and growing quarter over quarter. Every campaign launches with proper tracking and attribution. SEO and inbound channels become compounding sources of qualified demand.

Requirements:

What You’ll Own

  • Own demand generation end to end: strategy, execution, and optimization across inbound and outbound programs that drive measurable pipeline contribution
  • Build and scale growth marketing initiatives: identify and exploit high-leverage channels, test aggressively, and double down on what works
  • Lead SEO and SEM strategy: own organic search performance and paid search programs, from keyword strategy to landing page optimization to ROI reporting
  • Drive inbound marketing: develop content-led demand programs including gated assets, webinars, and nurture sequences that capture and convert buyer intent
  • Own social media and community presence: build Orchid’s organic reach across LinkedIn and relevant security communities, turning followers into engaged prospects
  • Run marketing automation: design, implement, and optimize automated workflows, lead scoring, and nurture programs in HubSpot that accelerate leads through the funnel
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations on attribution, funnel reporting, and pipeline dashboards so you always know what’s working and why
  • Partner with Product Marketing on campaign messaging and ensure story consistency across every channel and touchpoint
  • Build and manage a lean, high-output growth team as Orchid scales

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of B2B marketing experience with at least 3 to 4 years in demand generation, growth marketing, or a directly comparable role, ideally in cybersecurity, identity, or technical SaaS
  • Proven track record of building scalable demand gen programs that drive measurable pipeline. You can show the numbers
  • Deep hands-on expertise across the growth marketing stack: SEO/SEM, paid social, email nurture, marketing automation, and inbound content programs
  • HubSpot power user: you’ve built complex workflows, lead scoring models, and nurture programs from scratch
  • Strong analytical instincts. You live in dashboards, know your funnel metrics cold, and can quickly diagnose what’s leaking
  • Growth hacker mindset: you run structured experiments, kill what doesn’t work, and scale what does
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs across marketing, sales, and product in a fast-moving startup
  • Comfortable with the enterprise B2B buyer journey. You understand long cycles, multi-stakeholder deals, and how to stay relevant across them

Nice to Have

  • Experience marketing identity security, IAM, PAM, IGA, or adjacent enterprise security products
  • Background at an early-stage startup where you built the demand gen function from scratch
  • Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) and intent data tools (ZoomInfo, 6sense, Bombora)
  • Experience hiring and managing a small growth marketing team
