Status: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

Here's How You'll Make a Difference

You will lead a team of nurses committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience while ensuring the quality, efficiency, and smooth operation of clinical services. Your responsibilities will include:

Clinical Team Management

  • Directly supervise nurses and serve as the primary point of contact for physicians
  • Schedule staff, manage replacements, and ensure optimal clinical coverage
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation processes
  • Act as a clinical resource, team support, and engagement leader

Quality and Performance

  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and quality and performance objectives
  • Monitor key performance indicators (patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, wait times, etc.) and promote continuous improvement
  • Implement and support clinical and organizational best practices
  • Oversee the use of medical equipment and act as a super-user of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

Patient Experience and Operations

  • Maintain a patient-centered approach and a high standard of service excellence
  • Manage sensitive situations and ensure effective issue resolution
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the patient journey and daily operations

Collaboration and Change Management

  • Work with other clinics to standardize and harmonize practices
  • Participate in the implementation of new processes, technologies, and services
  • Contribute to organizational growth and act as a catalyst for change

Qualifications

You Have:

  • A college diploma (DEC) in Nursing and/or a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science
  • Active membership in good standing with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in operations management and/or personnel management in a healthcare environment
  • Strong proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written (bilingualism is essential)
  • Excellent ability to work under pressure, demonstrating autonomy, resourcefulness, and efficiency
  • Strong sense of responsibility, along with excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret organizational performance reports
  • A solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • A positive, motivating attitude and a passion for the healthcare field

Advanced English proficiency is required, as this role involves regular interaction in English with external parties (e.g., clients, suppliers, or external partners), internal stakeholders (e.g., colleagues and team members), and the use of English-language computer systems and tools in a position with national scope.
