This matters. Efficient freight ultimately makes things cost a little bit less when you buy them in the store.

You’ll manage the portfolio of 7LFreight’s airlines, keeping their data accurate and our customers happy. The role requires a blended skill set including a professional email presence, phenomenal accuracy, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Process/ interpret data from rate sheets (tariffs) and enter it into our proprietary system. Provide Customer Service for our tools via email, phone and live chat.

Requirements

  • Good typing skills and accuracy : 45+ wpm typing / 8000kph 10-key
  • Excellent phone presence and ability to escalate calls to management
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment
  • Strong communication skills--written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize and think critically during busy work-flow periods
  • Comfortable working in a role requiring regular interactions with various employees within the company.

Hold vision of broader company goals, understand, present, and reach business objectives, with an ability to align company and customer strategy.

  • Proactiveness, assertiveness and self-confidence, even in stressful situations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in order to reach individual & company goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English speaker and writer.

Preferred Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate has related industry skills (freight, logistics, transportation, supply chain).
  • Additional languages (Spanish is a big plus!)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year customer service/ data entry experience
  • Freight industry experience preferred but not required

Benefits:

  • Pay: $15.00-18.00 per hour DOE

Paid Holidays, Unlimited Paid Time Off, 100% Company-paid Health Insurance, 401K enrollment eligibility after 90 days, and a company match is available after one year of employment.

Schedule:

M-F 8 hours per day. For your first 90 days, you will be working from 8:30 am to 5 pm CST. After your 90-day probationary period, you'll be eligible for a flexible schedule.
