As an Agentic AI Engineering Intern at Freightos, you’ll help design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions that streamline shipping operations - enabling smarter quoting, booking, and real-time decision-making. You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to turn innovative concepts into production-ready systems that have a direct impact on global trade.

Responsibilities:

• Work on agentic AI systems, including the development, evaluation, and integration of autonomous software agents.
• Collaborate with teams to design intelligent systems for real-world applications.
• Use Python and modern AI frameworks to build and test AI models and pipelines.
• Engage in projects involving LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agent orchestration.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and presentations.

• Currently studying in technical fields such as Software Engineering, AI, or Computer Science.
• Ability to sign an internship agreement with your university or educational center.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and frameworks (e.g., LLMs, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Hands-on exposure to modern AI frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow; familiarity with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT models).
• Interest or background in agentic AI systems—AI that can reason, plan, and autonomously execute tasks.
• Understanding of MLOps pipelines (model training/testing/deployment) and version control (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural team.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and team work.
• A genuine interest in transforming the logistics industry through technology!

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Vertex AI).
• Participation in AI-related hackathons or open-source projects.
• Knowledge of agent orchestration tools (e.g., LangChain).
• Proficiency in English; Spanish or Arabic is a plus for respective locations.
