Our Madrid office is a key R&D hub with 50+ team members across engineering, data, and customer delivery, working closely with strategic customers across the region.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will build scalable data platforms and backend services that power ThetaRay’s financial crime detection and analytics systems.

Technology: Python, Spark, Pandas, Airflow, microservices, distributed databases, Docker, Kubernetes, React / Angular

What you’ll work on:

• Building large-scale data pipelines and backend services using Python
• Developing distributed data processing systems that analyze large financial datasets
• Designing microservices architectures that integrate data pipelines with AI-driven analytics
• Contributing to modern web applications and UI components using React, Next.js, or Angular
• Working with distributed databases and scalable storage systems

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience developing data platforms or backend systems using Python
• Experience building data pipelines or working with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Pandas)
• Experience designing microservices architectures
• Experience working with distributed databases (e.g., Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience working with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience contributing to frontend applications using React, Next.js, or Angular
• Fluent Spanish and strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
