We are hiring a Junior Banking Operations Associate to join our growing team. Reporting to the Manager of Banking and Risk Operations, the Associate would be responsible for supporting the company’s banking operations, with a focus on Mobile Check Deposits and Card Dispute Management. The position would ideally be based in New York City, but we are open to exploring US remote work with outstanding candidates.

This is an Internship Program to give Undergraduate or Graduate students an opportunity to break into Fintech with a team of experienced founders and builders at heart, backed by top VCs and 40+ top fintech angels. For the right candidate, this is a rare opportunity to build an industry-defining company from the ground up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct fraud reviews of Mobile Check Deposits

• Manage debit card disputes across both business and consumer accounts

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to learn about and contribute to in-house automated banking solutions

• Participate in training and educational sessions on banking systems and operations

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Undergraduate (Junior/Senior) or Graduate student.

  • Major or Minor in Economics, Financial Crimes, or related fields preferred.

• Extreme attention to detail and willingness to say something if you see something.

• Collaborative team player who enjoys learning from others who might be remote and willing to ask questions often.

• Ability to communicate well via Email or internal direct messaging systems with national and international team members.

• Fast paced learner and tech savvy

TIMELINES

The internship program will be for a 4-month period. There is a rolling start date, so it’s preferable that the candidate will be available to start as soon as possible:

• Before Summer months, the candidate will be asked to work remotely ~20 hours/week covering the hours of 3pm ET and 7pm ET.

• During Summer months, the candidate will be asked to work ~35 hours/week covering the hours of 12pm ET and 7pm ET.

The completion date of this internship is expected to be mid-August, however an exact final date can be discussed.
