Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

With occasional assistance from team and manager, works closely with application teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to determine the business needs for interfaces, document the requirements, and configure the interfaces per the requirements.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
-
3-5 years of experience creating and maintain HL7 interfaces
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HL7 version 2.x message types and segment/field mapping (ADT, ORM, ORU, DFT, MDM, etc.)
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of healthcare data exchange formats such as XML, CCD, CDA and DICOM, as well as healthcare data standards such as LOINC, CPT, IDC-9/ICD-10, and SNOMED
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role does not have any direct reports and is a single contributor role.
Working Environment and Travel Requirements
Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks. Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Mostly sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. No significant stooping is usually required.
